Sometimes we jump right into things and once we are in the middle of a project we realize that a different tool or a preparation of a surface would have made a much better time of things. Sure, you can usually muscle through it, make it work, and have a completed project, but often it leaves a bad memory, a sour taste, and trepidation of anything reminiscent in the future.
We encourage our clients to prepare for taxes. More than just earning money and deciding how many exemptions to take, we encourage you to consult us before moving money from investments, buying a new house, selling a business, or preparing a will. So many things can affect your taxes, if it involves a large sum of money, a change in state, status, or occupation, you may want to let us help you keep as much of your hard earned money as possible. This is a time when truly an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. I know, I hate sayings like that too, but it isn’t every day it actually applies!
